Try using a bamboo toothbrush instead of one made of plastic. You can go even further by getting your toothpaste in a jar instead of a plastic tube!
And if you do get your toothpaste in a plastic tube, try recycling it at the Terracycle facility outside Our Lady Church on Nightingale Road in Hitchin. Terracycle also accepts the caps from your toothpaste tube, plastic toothbrushes, electric toothbrush heads, floss containers, and tooth product packaging for recycling! If you recycle toothpaste tubes, please cut them open and rinse out any remaining product first.
